What’s New in Version 9.3.1 – Addresses a problem during the migration of albums from MobileMe Gallery that may cause photos to be moved from their original events into a new event called “From MobileMe” – Fixes an issue that in rare cases could cause iPhoto to hang when upgrading libraries macOS Mojave 10.14 was the last OS to support the app, as the release of macOS Catalina 10.15 on October 7, 2019, does not support iPhoto. As mentioned, Photos is a completely new app but not iPhoto replacement, and introduced a few new features, such as: 1. Some people still have not migrated iPhoto Libraries to Photos. Currently iPhoto 9.6.1 is still available to EI Capitan, but new version of Mac is not compatible with iPhoto. iPhoto and Aperture were discontinued and removed from the Mac App Store. The new Mac devices only come with Photos app. In the mean time, you can checkout the release notes after the break. On April 8, 2015, Apple released OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, which included the new Photos app. Apple released a new version of iPhoto for Mac, version 9.3.1, which fixes a slew of bugs, along with ” an issue that in rare cases could cause iPhoto to hang when upgrading libraries.” Interested?
